Dr. Fletcher is a long-term resident of the Bay Area, and has stated many times that there is no place else she would rather live. After completing her undergraduate degree in Genetics from University of California Berkeley, she went to medical school just across the bay at University of California San Francisco. She then stayed at UCSF for her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Fletcher very much enjoys providing gynecologic care to women of all age groups, from teens to women facing menopausal issues. She also enjoys general obstetrics, and the special bond that is formed when she has the opportunity to follow a woman throughout her prenatal course. In addition, she has a special interest in family planning and contraception.
