Dr. Jurow was raised and still resides on the Peninsula. He is the father of five boys and one girl. He trained at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Hospital and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Jurow is a former Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mills-Peninsula Hospital, a position he held in the past for over seven years. He is also an Examiner for the Board of Medical Quality Assurance for the State of California and is on the Boards of multiple local organizations designed to improve patient care in our area.

Dr. Jurow with his partner Dr. Lisa Dyer were the first to perform laparoscopic hysterectomies in the Bay Area over 11 years ago. When Dr. Jurow is unsuccessful at using natural methods for solving medical problems, he has the knowledge and experience to implement new techniques designed to be an alternative to hysterectomy. These procedures cause less discomfort and shorter hospital stays for his patients.
